Environmental Sustainability

Corrugated packaging is good for the planet: 100% renewable and recyclable.

Corrugated boxes are everywhere.  As a matter of fact, each year in the United States, 38 billion corrugated boxes are produced in order to get people the products they need. Made from a renewable resource, reusable and recyclable corrugated packaging comes full circle every day. From efficient use of managed forest lands to sustainable practices during manufacturing to high recovery rates that put fiber back into our system, corrugated packaging is truly good for the environment.

Choosing to use corrugated products to package your goods is an excellent decision. Corrugated is the most recycled packaging material. In 2020, more than 90 percent of corrugated packaging produced was recovered for recycling – and most of that was made into new products. Once recycled, corrugated box fibers are used 7-10 times to make new boxes and other paper products. The industry’s unwavering commitment to increasing recovery is demonstrated in its sponsorship of educational programs in schools, communities, and with packaging professionals, buyers, and retailers.

At Spring Cove Container, we take our responsibility to care for the environment very seriously. We strive to minimize waste, and 100 percent of the corrugated scrap generated from our manufacturing process is recycled. We are focused on providing innovative eco-friendly packaging solutions to our customers to create a better future without sacrificing on quality.
